The Government of Guinea, the French Alteo Group, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) today signed a public-private development partnership (PPDP) aimed at accelerating the acquisition and improvement of skills needed for the alumina industry in Guinea. The objective of this partnership is to promote, through skills transfer, the emergence of a highly skilled workforce in Guinea, thereby supporting the national strategy for bauxite development and contributing to the establishment of a local bauxite processing industry.
