On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, a delegation from Alteo Refinery Guinea, led by its Managing Director Mr. Frédéric SOBAC, visited ISMGB for a working meeting with the Institute’s senior management.

Accompanying Mr. SOBAC were:
Mr. Laurent Guillaumont, Project Director,
Mr. Daniel Brodeur, Training and Human Resources Manager,
Mr. Hamidou Conté, “BAYER” Process Engineer.

Welcomed by Dr. Daouda KEÏTA, Director General of ISMGB, the delegation discussed the implementation of the collaboration agreement between the two institutions.
This meeting reaffirmed a common goal: to train, innovate, and provide long-term support for Guinea’s industrial development.

Dr. KEÏTA emphasized ISMGB’s commitment to supporting the partnership and actively contributing to the training of national skills.
For his part, Mr. SOBAC praised the warm welcome and recalled the Institute’s strategic role in the success of the Alteo Refinery Guinea project, particularly in the areas of training, applied research, and technological innovation.

This visit illustrates the shared desire of ARG and ISMGB to build a lasting collaboration in the service of Guinean youth, research, and industrial development in the country.
