Second steering committee meeting for the EFIAG project
We had the pleasure of participating, alongside the Guinean government and UNIDO, in the second steering committee meeting for the EFIAG (Guinea Alumina Industry and Trade Training School) project, held on June 25 at the CNPG in Conakry.
This session marked a key milestone in:
– Validating the operational plan for the pilot phase scheduled to begin in October 2025.
– Finalizing the curricula, job descriptions, and equipment requirements.
– Organizing the recruitment of trainers and the first students.
Our future carbon-neutral refinery in Kamsar will require more than 850 skilled workers. Through EFIAG, we are fully committed to ensuring that these skills are trained locally, with a focus on sustainability and social impact.
The project also includes modules on green jobs, in line with our responsible approach to industry.
We would like to thank all of our partners for their involvement in this project, which will have a major impact on Guinea.
