The Alteo Alumina Group and Gamal Abdel Nasser University in Conakry have announced the launch of an academic partnership aimed at providing a one-semester continuing education program for students with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, focusing on the transformation of bauxite into alumina. This collaboration is part of the Alteo Alumina Group’s commitment to passing on its industrial expertise. Acquired in 2021 by the UMSI Group, Alteo Alumina aims to strengthen the technical skills of young Guineans, particularly in the context of its project to build an alumina refinery in the Boké region, Alteo Refinery Guinea (ARG).
