In a decree made public on Thursday, March 21, on national television, the transitional president, General Mamadi Doumbouya, announced the creation of a Project of National Interest (PIN).

This involves the construction and operation of an alumina refinery, industrial facilities, a base camp, and an ore transport corridor by Alteo Raffinerie Guinée (ARG) in the prefecture of Boké, as well as all related facilities necessary for the expansion of ore transport activities, including workshops, offices, and crushing facilities, which will be carried out by Alteo Raffinerie Guinée in the prefecture of Boké.
