Guinea has signed a major public-private partnership to support the development of industrial skills in the bauxite ore processing sector. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Technical Education, Vocational Training, and Employment, Aminata Kaba, the Minister of Higher Education, Alpha Bacar Barry, on the one hand, and the Director of the Alteo Alumina Group, on the other, with technical support from UNIDO, aims to train 700 technicians and 100 specialized managers over a period of 12 months.
