On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, the first meeting of the steering committee for the public-private partnership project funded by the ALTEO Group and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in collaboration with the Ministries of Technical Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education, and Mines and Geology.

Several topics were on the agenda, including an assessment of the project’s progress from August to December 2024, approval of the 2025 annual work plan, and a review of the various potential scenarios for the establishment of the Guinea Alumina Training School (EFAG).
