As part of the public-private partnership, the Ministries of Technical Education and Higher Education signed an agreement with the Alteo Group and UNIDO to train Guineans in the mining industry. The signing took place on Monday, June 24, 2024, in Conakry.

Under this partnership, a school will be built to train 700 young technicians in the alumina and aluminum sector and 100 engineers and senior managers. This will enable young people to meet the technological and operational requirements of the mining industry.
